Primary Care
As your primary care provider, we rely on an integrative care model that puts you and your health concerns first. We schedule extended visits with your provider and care team, so we can truly listen to understand your system and not just your symptoms.

As your primary care provider, our primary care doctors, and family practice physicians rely on an integrative care model that puts you and your health concerns first. We schedule visits for up to 60-minutes with your provider and care team, so we can truly listen to you and understand your body’s entire system – not just your symptoms. Sometimes, you need to see your primary care doctor or family practice physician for a routine checkup or preventive care. Other times, you might need treatment from your family medical doctor when you’re sick. And in some cases, you might have a more serious injury or illness and need to be referred to a specialist. Our treatment paradigm offers our patients:
- Personalized Attention
- Supportive Care Team
- Extended Appointments
- Wellness Collaboration & Integration
- Importance of Whole Body Care

Dave Wilson, MD
Family Medicine
“As a Family Practice Physician, I strive to provide care that is compassionate, personal, knowledgeable and evidence based. I believe in a team approach to family medicine, which means working together with my patients, their families, and other medical professionals to formulate a care plan that works well for everyone.”
Background
Dave grew up in the Flint area and graduated from Grand Blanc High School, but after 25 years of life on this side of the state, West Michigan can officially claim him as our own. The doctor actually began on a different track, graduating with honors from Michigan State University in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
After that, he worked in aerospace research for a year until returning to MSU for his medical degree. He completed his Family Medicine residency in 1995.
Dr. Dave’s patients will tell you that he is especially skilled at managing complex chronic conditions and mental health concerns, as well as educating those he treats about their conditions.
Interests
He is the father of two wonderful teenage daughters and he spends as much quality time as he can with them both. His boundless energy and adventurous hobbies also take full advantage of our beautiful Michigan outdoors. These activities include cruising and racing his sailboat, tennis, running, wakeboarding, swimming, ice climbing, and snowboarding… among others. Working on cars is a favorite too – which just underscores a lifelong talent and drive to help fix anything that’s broken.

Heather Burnside, PA-C
“When it comes to practicing family medicine, quality of life is of the utmost importance. As a Family Practice Physician, it’s my goal to work with each individual to reach their highest potential regarding physical, mental, and spiritual health. And I put special emphasis on preventative care to help my patients stay ahead of the curve rather than trying to rewind the clock”
Background
Born and raised here in Southwest Michigan, Heather tells us she grew up always caring for others – from siblings and friends to stray animals. By the time she reached high school, she already knew she wanted to be a physician assistant. She attended Western Michigan University, graduating with a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant studies in 2015. Heather has a true passion for educating patients on how they can nourish their bodies with plant based-medicine as a weapon against chronic disease. She understands the daily challenges of patients who struggle to commit to lifestyle changes and work to ensure that they have all the available resources to make thoughtful decisions regarding their health. Heather spends quality time with each patient, building lifelong relationships based on trust and respect. For her it’s all about helping them reach their individual goals to live a happier, healthier life.
Interests
Heather and her husband have a son and daughter, both of whom they adore beyond words. Her family loves to explore – whether it’s their own backyard, local towns or different cultures around the world – with lifelong friends made no matter where they go.

Liberty A. Abraham, APRN, FNP-C
“Incorporating body, mind and spirit are essential in achieving optimal health and well-being.
